Recommendation for use

Add a drop to natural or vanilla yoghurt and garnish with fresh fruit. Combine with hearty dishes such as chicken, fish, shrimps and vegetables, but also with rice, pasta or noodle salad.

Young Living's Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis) has a light, fresh, lemony scent that strengthens and vitalizes while soothing and calming. Melissa was an important ingredient in Carmelite water (distilled in France since 1611 by members of the Carmelite Order).

Some studies have shown that lemon balm has a beneficial effect on the skin. During the winter season it has a calming and supportive effect on the immune system. Lemon balm reaches a value of 1,343,547 (TE/L) on the ORAC scale. TE/L stands for "micromole Trolox equivalent per liter".
