The true camomile (Matricaria recutita) is an annual plant reminiscent of the daisy and grows mainly in Europe and in the moderate climates of Asia. It is now also native to North America and Australia and is considered the most popular raw material for camomile herbs.

The Damascene Rose, mainly grown in Bulgaria, differs in its composition from the Moroccan Rose (rosa centifolia) by a higher citronellol content, which also causes a difference in aroma and therapeutic effect.

The rose essence is extracted from the petals. This precious essence has been extracted for thousands of years and has been used not only as an intoxicating fragrance but also for healing purposes from very early on.
