The sage plant, also known as Salvia Officinalis, is a member of the mint family. Young Living's Sage+ is distilled from sage leaves and is known for the earthy flavor that is essential to any holiday meal.

But this effective essential oil is far too good to be used only at ceremonies. Young Living Sage+ can also be used as a wonderful flavor enhancer for seafood, vegetables, bread, muffins, or other savory pastries.

Recommendation for use

• Gives festive dishes an unmistakable taste, for example in the filling.
• Use Sage+ when preparing Butternut Squash Pumpkin to enhance its earthy taste.
• Dilute one drop of oil with 4 drops of carrier oil. Place in a capsule and take one daily.

Young Living's Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis) has a light, fresh, lemony scent that strengthens and vitalizes while soothing and calming. Melissa was an important ingredient in Carmelite water (distilled in France since 1611 by members of the Carmelite Order).

Some studies have shown that lemon balm has a beneficial effect on the skin. During the winter season it has a calming and supportive effect on the immune system. Lemon balm reaches a value of 1,343,547 (TE/L) on the ORAC scale. TE/L stands for "micromole Trolox equivalent per liter".

Recommendation for use

Increase your well-being by putting 1-2 drops into a vegetarian gel capsule every day and taking it as a food supplement. Add Orange+ to sweet and savoury dishes for added flavour and spice.
