Originally from the Mediterranean region, fennel is now at home in many regions of the world. It grows mainly on dry soils near the coast or on river banks. The essential food supplement oil Fennel+ is obtained by steam distillation from crushed fennel seeds. Its characteristic feature is its pleasantly strong liquorice taste.
