The light blue chalcedony, the “stone of orators”, stands for communication, strengthens oratory and self-expression and also helps to listen and understand.
The healing stone literature assigns chalcedony to the larynx area, and therefore also to the thyroid gland and vocal cords. It is also said to have a supportive effect on the kidneys and bladder. Chalcedony is also used for hoarseness, colds and allergies.
Stone size: approx. 20 x 30 mm set in sterling silver.

Blue chalcedony, also known as chalcedony agate in its banded form, consists of microscopically small fibers that run parallel to each other. Macroscopically, chalcedony often shows radial rays and stalactitic forms.
Chalcedony was probably named after an ancient city on the Bosporus.
There are deposits in Brazil, India, Africa and Madagascar, among others.
