Young Living's Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis) has a light, fresh, lemony scent that strengthens and vitalizes while soothing and calming. Melissa was an important ingredient in Carmelite water (distilled in France since 1611 by members of the Carmelite Order).

Some studies have shown that lemon balm has a beneficial effect on the skin. During the winter season it has a calming and supportive effect on the immune system. Lemon balm reaches a value of 1,343,547 (TE/L) on the ORAC scale. TE/L stands for "micromole Trolox equivalent per liter".

Young Living's Myrtle (Myrtus communis) has a clear, fresh, herbaceous scent, similar to eucalyptus. It supports the respiratory system, skin, and hair, positively influences any glandular imbalances, and is known for its generally beneficial effects when inhaled. It is also helpful for meditation. Myrtle has an ORAC of about 253,512 (TE / L). TE / L is expressed as micromol Trolox equivalent per litre.

Myrtle has an uplifting aroma that is pleasant when misted. It also has emollient properties that, when used, can improve the skin's appearance and make it look healthier. The main ingredients are alpha pinene, eucalyptol and limonene.

Mytus communis, the traditional or true myrtle, is a plant species that occurs in the Mediterranean region, especially on the islands of Corsica and Sardinia. This precious, aromatic plant can be found in many historical writings. There it was used to treat respiratory problems. However, no medical study has yet been able to prove this. For the Romans, myrtle was essential for garden use. The plant was spread throughout the Roman Empire.

Northern Lights Black Spruce essential oil comes from Young Living Northern Lights Farm in British Columbia, Canada. Black spruce (Picea mariana) is native to all of Canada, even the three Arctic regions. To extract the essential oil, all the tree's components are steam distilled.

The rich aroma, which smells of fresh forest, is ideal for nebulizing during meditation. The oil of black spruce is also a perfect complement for any skin care. It can be applied directly to improve the appearance of dry skin or generally to maintain the healthy appearance of the skin.

You can apply the oil of Northern Lights black spruce to all parts of the body - including the soles of your feet, along the backbone or neck - and also use it for massages. The oil contains the naturally occurring substances alpha-pinene, camphene and beta-pinene and is also an important component of the essential oil blends Valor II®, Shutran™, Peace & Calming IITM, Light The FireTM and many other products.

Ravintsara is a large evergreen tree from Madagascar that grows up to 20-30 meters high and is known as camphor tree. Cinnamomum camphora has its origin in Asia and is cultivated in many countries as an ornamental tree for gardens and parks.

Young Living's Ravintsara has a spicy, warm fragrance that is gentler than the similar eucalyptus oil. The chemotype of Cinnamomum camphora is usually very rich in 1.8 cineol and is steam distilled from the branches and leaves. The main constituents are cineol, alpha-pinene and alpha-terpinene.

Ravintsara promotes a clear mind and increases motivation. It supports a clear, healthy looking skin.

Application:

The Damascene Rose, mainly grown in Bulgaria, differs in its composition from the Moroccan Rose (rosa centifolia) by a higher citronellol content, which also causes a difference in aroma and therapeutic effect.

This precious essence has been extracted for thousands of years and has been used not only as an intoxicating fragrance but also for healing purposes from very early on. The Arabian doctor and scholar Avicenna is said to have been the first to distil the rose and in his writings he also referred to its healing powers.
