Although the essential oil of the blue rain fern (Tanacetum annuum) is extracted from small yellow flowers from the camomile family, the powerful essential oil acquires a deep blue colour during steam distillation. The reason for this is the naturally contained active ingredient chamazulene. This rare plant, originally from Morocco, is known mainly from high-end beauty products. Young Living members have long known the essential oil of blue rain fern as an ingredient in many popular blends, including Valor, Peace & Calming, and JuvaFlex. Finally, Blue Rain Fern is now available as a single oil--for nebulization, for application to the skin, or to bring joy to others!

Recommendation for use
On the skin: dilute 1 drop with 1 drop of V-6™ or olive oil and apply to the desired area. Aromatic: Nebulize three times a day for up to 30 minutes. Safety advice: Keep out of reach of children. The jade lemon (Jade Lemon™) is grown in the warm and humid climate of south-eastern China. While other types of lemons release some of their oil when they turn yellow, the jade lemon retains its green colour even when ripe, which means that the oil remains in the fruit. It is only released after picking. This results in an overall fuller, richer flavour.

Young Living's Jade Lemon is high in d-limonene, an invigorating and uplifting ingredient that helps you think clearly and focus on your goals. The oil nourishes the skin, but can also be used for cleansing. A study carried out in 1995 at Mie University showed that citrus scents in general contribute to relaxation and can trigger feelings of happiness.

Young Living's fennel (Foeniculum vulgare) has a sweet, earthy, anise-like flavor with a revitalizing, vitalizing, and harmonizing effect. It has a stimulating effect on the circulatory, glandular, respiratory, and digestive systems. It can also alleviate menstrual problems. Fennel has an ORAC of approximately 2,383,680 (TE/L). TE/L is given as micromole Trolox equivalent (micromol Trolox) per litre.

Fennel is the only plant species of the genus Foeniculum within the family of umbellifers (Apiaceae) and is related to parsley.

In the Middle Ages fennel was used as protection against evil spirits and witchcraft. For centuries fennel has been considered an effective digestive aid and remedy for gynaecological problems. The ancient Egyptians and Hildegard von Bingen also have numerous records of the effects and uses of fennel.

Ravintsara is a large evergreen tree from Madagascar that grows up to 20-30 meters high and is known as camphor tree. Cinnamomum camphora has its origin in Asia and is cultivated in many countries as an ornamental tree for gardens and parks.

Young Living's Ravintsara has a spicy, warm fragrance that is gentler than the similar eucalyptus oil. The chemotype of Cinnamomum camphora is usually very rich in 1.8 cineol and is steam distilled from the branches and leaves. The main constituents are cineol, alpha-pinene and alpha-terpinene.

Ravintsara promotes a clear mind and increases motivation. It supports a clear, healthy looking skin.

Citronella is perfect for fogging indoors and outdoors and provides a fresh, invigorating fragrance that eliminates unpleasant odours. Citronella is an important ingredient in Young Living products like the Purification oil blend.

Cymbopogon nardus is a special type of lemon grass known as Citronella, which grows up to 2 m high. The origin of this species is believed to be in Indonesia. Citronella produces a fragrant essential oil. The essential oil contains mainly geraniol, geranyl acetate and limonene.

Young Livings Citronella oil has a refreshing and invigorating fragrance. Can be atomized inside and outside to eliminate unpleasant odors. Contains the naturally occurring ingredients geraniol, limonene and geranyl acetate. Excellent to combine with cedar wood for outdoor use.

Mytus communis, the traditional or true myrtle, is a plant species that occurs in the Mediterranean region, especially on the islands of Corsica and Sardinia. This precious, aromatic plant can be found in many historical writings. There it was used to treat respiratory problems. However, no medical study has yet been able to prove this. For the Romans, myrtle was essential for garden use. The plant was spread throughout the Roman Empire.
